Staying and sharing space in a dorm saves travelers a lot of money for accommodations. BUT sometravelers need to respect the rights of others in the dorm. Things one should not do include coming in drunk late at night, talking loud and then turning on the lights at 3 am. Another pet peeve of mine is those who have to catch an early bus, train or plane in the morning. PACK your stuff the night BEFORE. It is not acceptable to turn on the lights, pack your stuff and talk in the dorm at 4 am while the rest if us are trying to sleep. Pack your bags, take them out of the dorm when ou wake up and get dressed in the bathroom. Simple. Happened this morning so wanted to address the issue to any backpackers who read my blog.

- After getting my first passport in 2006 and traveling to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania my life changed. I began the process of getting rid of all my possessions and traveling the world. Traveling to over 110 countries and all 7 continents, hostels have been my home. This "new life" has taught me what is important and it was NOT accumulating money or possessions. Traveling is the best education. I hope my blog will encourage others to travel. My World Tattoo was a way for me to express my PASSION FOR TRAVEL.
