Reason I came to AVIGNON, FRANCE was to see the Lavender fields. Did a 1/2 day tour to Sault to visit the Lavender fields and was not disappointed. Love the smell. Found out there are Lavender fields and Lavindin Fields (a hybrid used for massage oils and insect repellent). Actually Lavindin in the more purple in color.
