Finally made it. Have been in Barcelona 5-6 times but thought Tibidado Mountain was too difficult to get to. Metro, 15 minute walk and funicular was all it took.

FRANCE, Avignon, lavender fields

Reason I came to AVIGNON, FRANCE was to see the Lavender fields. Did a 1/2 day tour to Sault to visit the Lavender fields and was not disappointed. Love the smell. Found out there are Lavender fields and Lavindin Fields (a hybrid used for massage oils and insect repellent). Actually Lavindin in the more purple in color.

Visited AVIGNON after 4 days in Paris to visit the Lavender Fields in bloom. Fortunate that the Lavender Festival was going on.

ITALY, Pompeii ruins

My ITALY GROUP took the high speed train to Naples and then connected to Circumventa for remaining 40 minutes to Pompeii. Ironically I have traveled by Pompeii many times on way to Amalfi Coast but never had desire to visit.

ESTONIA, Tallinn

After Stockholm, I flew to Tallinn,  Estonia to spend my last 4 nights before flying to Rome to prepare for my ITALY GROUP. I had visited here on a day TRIP while on a cruise but did not get a true "feel" of the city. Much more enjoyable this time.
