Weather much nicer this morning, no rain. Signed up for a trip to the Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness for tomorrow. I will leave on a bus with tour guide at 8 am and return 8 pm. Will cover a lot of Scotland. Afterwards, I walked to Colten Hill to get a better view of the city, then went to Princess Gardens, and Edinburgh Castle ($25 ouch). Sunshine most of day and the castle was impressive.

| Tlhe 1 o'clock gun. It goes off everyday at 1 pm. Did not know that and was only about 25 yards away when it went off. Scared me , thought there was an accdent or something. . |
