After getting my first passport in 2006 and traveling to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania my life changed. I began the process of getting rid of all my possessions and traveling the world. Traveling to over 125 countries and all 7 continents, hostels have been my home. This "new life" has taught me what is important and it was NOT accumulating money or possessions. I have an aurora excursion for Chena Hot Springs ($175) booked for Saturday but forecast looks like there is little opportunity then with cloudy and snow forecast.

Scrambling , today I finally found 1 company not completely booked tonight for $110. Forecast is clear with high aurora activity expected. Crossing my fingers. Leave at 10 pm and return at 2 am.

Rest of week does not look good to see the lights unfortunately.
