Stayed thge 1st 2 nights in a LUXURY apartment that I had mistakenly booked in 2020 at $170 a night and which was non canceleable. Fortunately due to Coviid they extended the dates until I was able to. Use them. My apartment on 35th floor looked out on the very close Dubai Mall and Burj Kalif, the tallest building in the world. I visited the top and also checked out the Duubai Mall and it's dancing fountains at night. This was in downtown Dubai.

I transferred to the Jumerah Beach for cheaper hostel stay. Unfortunately too hot to visit the beach or do much due to heat and humidity. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia next.
September 4-7th. Moving to Jumeirah Beach Hoetel for final 3 nights. OMG so hot and humidity is so bad no one goes to the beach. I was told July and August were worse. I had great view of Beach and WORLD'S TALLESTferris wheel. Planning on visiting Jeddah, Saudi Arabia next.
